I didn’t know what to expect at the She Dared To® Retreat, my daughter invited me, and I am so happy that I attended. It opened my eyes to the fact that I have to work on me and that’s okay. The weekend was exactly what I needed – to take time for ME. CJ can open your eyes to a whole new world that holds great possibilities you never knew was possible. I knew CJ in high school – we traveled in different circles, so we were never friends – I just knew her from afar – always smiling and laughing… being cool.

Fast forward 20 years… she asked me to trust her, offered her hand as my mentor and said she’d be with me every step of the way: I only had to take the first step.

I stood on the edge of what seemed like a very steep cliff… I paused, and paused, and finally took the leap. I gathered up what I had and made the specific choice to invest in myself. Wow. What a liberating choice that was.

Looking back that investment seems so incredibly minimal as compared to my return. There is no way I could have asked for all that I have received because 4 years ago I could not have even imagined what I have now.
